A Place for Us

There\'s always a before picture.

This is a little section we can use to post our editorials.

It’s Not Symantics!  Phat Jeans, Fat Genes, Fat Jeans, Phat Genes, An Editorial

by Myia 5/14/08

Phat Jeans: We all have (or had) that perfect pair of denim pants that make us look incredible.  Yeah, you know the ones.

Fat Genes: Some people are born to be fat and stay fat.  We just can’t escape it…not without losing our minds at least.

Fat Jeans

Fat Jeans: If you’re a woman, you know them all to well.  That pair of denim pants that we HAVE to wear when we gain unsightly pounds or get our period.

Phat Genes: And of course, those are those people who are born with a nice shape that stays nice, eat whatever they want, don’t workout and no matter what they stay perfect.  I hate those people…not really, but like Mo’nique says, “Skinny bitches are evil!”

This is not meant to disparage.  We all look at our bodies and see their imperfections. This is just labelling the pieces – it is what it is.  I have this fatnatomy too. (These pictures are from the Smithsonian Institute Online Archive. They are from the early 1900s)

  4. Hi! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue.
If you have any recommendations, please share. Cheers!
